At last it all makes sense!

Coralie Todd - Managing Director

Let me introduce myself. My name is Coralie and I'm the eldest of two which renders me a little bit bossy, very caring and the one who always gets pushed forward to try new things first.

I am logical, hugely organised and a bit of a perfectionist. This all fitted very nicely when I was a Global Project Manager at IBM and other blue chips but it didn't satisfy that creative bit of me that loves to 'make stuff'.

So I quickly found myself running three magazines whilst doing the day job, just to satisfy all the bits that corporate life couldn't, and then I got a bit frustrated when I realised there were no systems available to help me run my business.

"Surely someone would have created a clean and simple way of doing this"? I thought. It seemed I was wrong. Mag owners across the globe were struggling with bits of paper (at worst) and excel spreadsheets at best. I really couldn't resist the challenge of building a system just for me, to fill my own business needs and make sure things were done correctly. And so, with Brian's technical care and expertise, I left the corporate world behind and Quay Pages was born.

I now still manage my three magazines, wonderful partner (who thankfully I don't manage!) 5 children, mad dog and Quay Pages. Somehow I also fit in a bit of exercise and reading. One day there may be a bit more but for now I've found my niche and I'm happy to share.

Brian Smith - Technical Director

Let me introduce myself. My name is Brian and I'm the youngest of four which meant I was pretty much left to my own devices; as such I entertained myself with art, music, films, games, puzzles, 80s computer games and my own imagination.

I picked up the best traits of my elder siblings, an interesting mixed bag of creativity, artistic flair and logical problem solving... which all come in handy for today’s multimedia rich business environment.

After working for a wide range of companies from training organisations developing interactive CD-ROMs to design agencies creating high street brands, I decided to set up my own business and work as an external resource to London-based government departments and local housing associations working on their websites and back-end database systems.

Once Coralie approached me with the idea for an 'all in one' magazine CRM, outlining the issues she faced on a daily basis, it made perfect sense to develop Quay Pages as a joint venture and bring both of our teams diverse skill sets to the table.

As well as working full time on Quay Pages I visit the gym twice a week where I pay a personal trainer to beat me up and I'm working through my life's 'to do' list; I've seen a total eclipse, driven a Lamborghini and completed a tandem skydive!
